Israeli sources announced that 9 officers and soldiers were killed and others wounded in two separate attacks during the battles in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.
The sources explained that one of the two attacks was an ammunition explosion in a truck that led to the death and injury of soldiers, and the other was the bombing of a building containing soldiers in southern Gaza.
The sources confirmed that today is the toughest day for the Israeli army since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip.
Previously, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Palestinian resistance movement “Hamas,” announced that its fighters were able to detonate an anti-personnel device against an Israeli force in Khan Yunis.
The resistance said in a statement, “The Al-Qassam Mujahideen were able to detonate an anti-personnel device, ‘Ra’adiya’, in a Zionist force and engage the remaining members with machine guns inside a school near the station area in the city of Khan Yunis. Rescue crews arrived at the scene to evacuate the dead and injured.”
They were also able to target a special Zionist force inside a house with an anti-personnel missile, killing and wounding members of the force near the station area in the city of Khan Yunis.
