The Israeli army announced on Friday the killing of the commander of Hezbollah’s missile unit, Ali Abdel Hassan Naim, during a raid carried out by the Israeli Air Force on the Bazouriyeh area in southern Lebanon.
The army said in a statement that the man was a “missile commander” and one of the commanders of launching missiles with heavy warheads, “and responsible for planning and launching attacks against Israel.”
A video posted online by Israel showed a car on the street, in which Naim was said to be traveling, exploding after it was hit by a missile.

Fears of the conflict expanding regionally
These strikes coincide with the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, which fears are increasing that it will expand.
