TEL AVIV – Israel also started summer time this weekend, but amid protest. Because the clock has been moved forward one hour, Israel has less time to bomb Gaza.
“Unfortunately, we have to go along with the international agreements on this, but you will understand that the timing this year is really disastrous. A small part of the buildings in Gaza are still standing and we really need every hour to raze everything to the ground,” said Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
On the night from Saturday to Sunday the clocks went forward one hour. This left Israel with only 23 hours to bomb Gaza on Sunday. “I have instructed the military to prioritize the highest priority targets,” Netanyahu said. “We will therefore continue to focus on residential areas and hospitals for the time being.”
