“I was wrong. What I said after the press conference should not have been said and I apologize for it,” Netanyahu wrote on X shortly after deleting his initial statement on the same platform.
The Prime Minister added: “I fully support all intelligence chiefs. I’m sending forces to the Chief of Staff [ЦАХАЛа]and to the IDF commanders and soldiers who are on the front lines fighting for our home.”
The cursor recalls that the scandal began after Netanyahu wrote a post on X (formerly Twitter) late Saturday night, claiming that he had never received any warning about Hamas’ “military intentions” at any stage, and adding that “all “The security services, including the head of military intelligence and the head of the Shin Bet, were of the opinion that Hamas was holding back and wanted to reach a settlement.” Gantz and Lapid criticized his statement, after which the prime minister deleted the tweet this morning.
