Israeli Prime Minister Bennet: ‘soon’ nuclear deal with Iran | Abroad

Insiders have indicated that a new deal appears to be within reach. Earlier this week, the Americans said “significant progress” had been made in negotiations in Vienna to revive the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. The world powers then signed an agreement with Tehran to curb Iran’s nuclear program. In return, international sanctions were lifted.

However, the Americans withdrew in 2018 under then-President Donald Trump, after which Iran increased uranium production. His successor Joe Biden has said he wants to renew the deal and is willing to lift some sanctions. But then Iran must keep to the agreements, the White House emphasizes.

According to experts, the country could have enough nuclear material to make a nuclear weapon in a few weeks.
