Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was fitted with a pacemaker on Sunday (23/7) after experiencing a heart arrhythmia. He is also currently under close observation at a Tel Aviv regional hospital.
“The implant went well without any complications. She is not in a life-threatening condition and she feels well and is back to her daily routine,” said Roy Beinart, who manages the arrhythmia center at Sheba Medical Center. Reuters.

Previously, Netanyahu was given a heart monitor a week ago after being rushed to the hospital because he was said to be dehydrated from the heat wave. At that time he was known to be on vacation on the Sea of Galilee, Israel.
“The 73-year-old leader was immediately summoned on Saturday evening after a “transient arrhythmia” was detected,” said Beinart.
However, before installing the device, Netanyahu reported that it was in good condition.
