Al Jazeera news agency said one of its journalists, Givara Budeiri, had been attacked and forcibly arrested by Israeli police on Saturday (5/6).
Budeiri was arrested while covering a protest in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah. A police spokesman said that Budeiri had attacked officers and refused to identify him.
