The body of the Reuters photojournalist was transported. Essam Abdullah From his home in Khiam to the town cemetery, carried on his palms and wrapped in the Lebanese flag, where funeral prayers were held before he was buried.
Abdullah was killed as a result of an Israeli missile that hit a group of journalists who were covering the events of Alma al-Shaab in the south.
Two journalists were injured by Israeli bombing

Reuters said that two of its journalists, Thaer Al-Sudani and Maher Nazih, were injured in the bombing on the border area.
The Qatari Al Jazeera channel said that two of its employees, Elie Brakhia and reporter Carmen Joukhadar, were among the wounded.
The French international news agency, Agence France-Presse, said that two of its journalists were among the wounded, but the agency did not reveal their names.
In a statement, Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned the Israeli bombing that targeted journalists “during its aggression against southern Lebanon.”
At the United Nations, Secretary-General António Guterres expressed his condolences to the family of the murdered journalist.
