Israeli Military Attack on Gaza Strip: Hundreds Killed and Injured in Latest Conflict

The team Israel launched another military attack on the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military said on Saturday (2/12) that it had struck more than 400 targets Hamas Of Gaza since the ceasefire ended the day before.

The Israeli military stated that the air force, navy and land were involved in the military attack. It said fighter jets also struck “more than 50 targets in extensive strikes in the Khan Yunis area” in the southern Gaza region.

Meanwhile, Hamas authorities in the Gaza Strip said on Saturday that 240 people had been killed as a result of Israeli attacks on the Palestinian territory, since the ceasefire ended on Friday (1/12).

Another 650 people were injured in “hundreds of air strikes, artillery and naval bombardment, everywhere in the Gaza Strip”, Hamas said in a statement, as reported by Al Arabiya and AFP, Saturday (2/12/2023).

Hamas added that Israeli forces “specifically targeted Khan Yunis, where dozens of houses were destroyed by them with their occupants inside”.

Previously, Israeli planes had dropped leaflets in the eastern and northern areas of the city of Khan Younis, urging residents to evacuate.

The leaflets, as reported by the BBC, Saturday (2/12/2023), contain a QR code connected to a map Gaza Strip. The area is then divided into hundreds of blocks, each accompanied by a specific number.
