Israeli military attack on Gaza, Palestine destroyed at least 59 mosques there. The mosques were completely destroyed.
Gaza’s Interior Ministry reported that 59 mosques were completely destroyed as a result of bombardment from Israeli troops since October 7.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Waqf in the Gaza Strip, Ikrami Al Mudallal, added that this number included the Al Sahwa Mosque in Gaza and two mosques in Khan Younis which were destroyed by Israel on Wednesday (8/11).

“The number of mosques completely destroyed has increased to 59,” said Al Mudallah, quoted by Anadolu Agency.
He then said, “In addition to varying levels of damage, there are 136 mosques and three churches [yang rusak] since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7.”
Israeli forces launched an aggression in Palestine on October 7. They are also at war with Hamas.
Since the war, Israel has attacked places of worship, schools and hospitals. They claim the area around these places is a Hamas hideout. However, several public facility managers denied these accusations.
Not long after the war broke out, Israel also completely blockaded the Gaza Strip and severely limited humanitarian aid.
So far, the death toll from Israeli attacks is more than 10,000 people. The international community and organizations have repeatedly called for a ceasefire, but Israel and its ally, the United States, have refused.
