The Israeli media reported on the liquidation of one of the leaders of the terrorist group “Hamas” – Ayman Younis.
The terrorist was reportedly killed in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip. The body of the extremist was found under the ruins of his house. An extremely precise shot was made.
Israeli forces strike Hamas positions after yesterday’s Arab attack. In Gaza, according to the latest figures, 313 Palestinians were killed and another 1,990 were injured. Hamas, for its part, is holding many Israeli soldiers and civilians hostage.
Israel is trying to establish full territorial control, but fierce fighting is still taking place. The infiltration of Hamas fighters from several directions is a huge setback for Israeli intelligence. Netanyahu’s government is facing another serious test. Israel has perhaps the largest and most well-funded intelligence services in the Middle East. It has informants and agents both in Palestinian groups and in Lebanon, Syria and other countries. And that’s not all: Israeli services have proven themselves with precision operations, killing enemies of Israel in various places around the world after careful tracking. It is therefore surprising that Israel allowed such an attack.
Hamas was founded in the second half of the 1980s and has been in opposition to Yasser Arafat’s Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) since its inception. It is disputed whether Hamas was created, even with the financial support of the Israeli government, in order to counterbalance the PLO – a scenario that both sides today vehemently deny. Unlike the PLO, Hamas denies Israel’s right to exist. The current rocket fire to which Israel is subjected greatly exceeds the scale of any previous escalation of violence.
The Israeli army has announced that it is giving itself 24 hours to evacuate all residents of nearby Israeli settlements along the Gaza Strip. “Heroic battles are now taking place there to free the hostages,” an Israeli army spokesman said. “Our mission for the next 24 hours is to evacuate all residents from the nearby area along the Gaza Strip,” an army spokesman said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to destroy the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, which launched its biggest attack on his country. In a televised address, Netanyahu called Gaza a “city of evil” and threatened to take revenge for this “black day”. The Israeli Prime Minister called on the residents of the Gaza Strip to leave the enclave. “We will act everywhere with all our strength,” he warned.
Meanwhile, it became clear that an Egyptian police officer killed Israeli tourists and an Egyptian citizen in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. The attack took place on the archaeological site “Column of Pompeii”. Egypt made peace with Israel decades ago and was a mediator in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for years. But anti-Israel sentiment continues to be seen in Egyptian society, especially during periods of escalating tensions between Israelis and Palestinians.
