The Israeli leaflets, which were directed to “the residents of southern Lebanon,” stated: “We would like to inform you that the terrorist Hezbollah is taking advantage of the opportunity to infiltrate your homes, your pure lands, and the vicinity of your work and livelihood…”
The leaflets directed a mild threat, which is one of the common propaganda methods, to the residents of the south: “Hezbollah members’ concealment in civilian areas is the real danger, and this will cause harm to you.”
These leaflets fell on several areas in southern Lebanon, including the town of Kafr Kila.
The throwing of leaflets coincided with a morning artillery bombardment that targeted the town of Kafr Kila and the “Al-Awaida” hill on the outskirts of the town of Al-Taybeh in the eastern sector, according to what our correspondent reported.
It added that artillery shelling also targeted the outskirts of several towns in the western sector, including Alma Al-Shaab, Al-Dhaira, and Al-Labouneh.
Since the outbreak of the Gaza War on October 7, the level of tension has risen on the Lebanese-Israeli border front, until the exchange of bombardments has become almost daily.
Israel says that Hezbollah fired hundreds of rockets and shells on its territory, and responded with massive air and artillery bombardment on southern Lebanon.
