(CNN) – The clashes between Israeli forces and the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” entered their seventh day on Friday morning, and below we review the most prominent developments:
The World Health Organization warned on Friday that hospitals in Gaza are “on the verge of collapse” and that “time is running out” to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe. The organization’s spokesman, Tarek Jasarevic, said on Friday, in a press statement, that “time is running out to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe if “Fuel, life-saving health and humanitarian supplies have not been urgently delivered to the Gaza Strip amid the complete blockade.”

The Israeli military accused Hamas of “hiding behind the residents of Gaza” and instructing civilians to “ignore” Israeli warnings to evacuate to the south, according to Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari, who added in Friday’s statements that “Hamas is inhumane and does not care about the safety of people in Gaza,” and that The movement “bears full responsibility” for the situation in Gaza.

On Friday, Hamas said that 13 Israeli hostages being held in Gaza were killed as a result of “indiscriminate” Israeli bombing of parts of Gaza during the past 24 hours. The Israeli army said it could neither confirm nor deny this allegation.
– Amnesty International called on Israel to immediately lift “the blockade it has imposed on the Gaza Strip for 16 years,” and said that “collective punishment of the civilian population in Gaza amounts to a war crime – it is cruel and inhumane.”

– The Hamas movement asked the Palestinians living in Gaza not to leave their homes, according to a statement it sent to media organizations, on Friday morning, accusing Israel of engaging in “psychological warfare” by sending messages asking Palestinian civilians and employees of international organizations to evacuate to South of the sector.

– Israeli army spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus, said in an update on Friday morning that at least 1,300 civilians and soldiers were killed in Israel after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Saturday, adding that the number of wounded exceeds 3,000.
On Friday, the Israeli army called on all civilians in Gaza City to evacuate “south,” and the army’s spokesman for the Arab media, Avichay Adraee, said in a post on his page on the X platform (formerly Twitter): “The Israeli Defense Forces calls on all residents of Gaza City to evacuate their homes and head south.” In order to protect them and be present south of the Gaza Valley, as shown on the map… the terrorist organization Hamas has opened war against the State of Israel and Gaza City is witnessing military operations. This evacuation is being carried out for your personal security.”
He continued: “He will not be allowed to return to Gaza City unless a statement is issued permitting it. It is forbidden to approach the fence area with the State of Israel… Hamas terrorists are hiding inside Gaza City in tunnels under homes and inside buildings crowded with innocent residents… O residents of Gaza, you must go south.” To preserve your personal security and the security of your families, and distance yourselves from Hamas saboteurs who are using you as human shields. In the coming days, the Defense Forces will continue to work significantly in Gaza City and intend to refrain from attacking civilians.”

– United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres requested clarification from the Israeli ambassador, Gilad Erdan, after Israel issued an order to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip within 24 hours, a source familiar with the situation told CNN.
– More than 423,000 Palestinians have been internally displaced in Gaza due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas, representing a 25% increase in one day, according to a daily update issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Friday.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening with warnings that people are at risk of starvation as Israel continues to bomb it in response to Hamas attacks that have killed more than 1,200 people, including at least 27 Americans.
