On Monday, Israeli forces arrested Palestinian and former detainee, Ahed Tamimi, in the village of Nabi Saleh in the West Bank, while the army announced that the charge she faces is “incitement to terrorism.”
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said, “Israeli forces arrested Al-Tamimi from her family’s home in the village of Nabi Saleh,” northwest of Ramallah.
The agency also indicated that a young man from the village of Deir Qadis, northwest of Ramallah, was also arrested.
The Israeli army explained that Al-Tamimi was arrested on charges of “incitement to terrorism.”
An Israeli army spokesman told AFP, “Ahed Tamimi was arrested on suspicion of inciting violence and terrorist activities in the town of Nabi Saleh. Tamimi was referred to the Israeli security forces for further interrogation.”
