Netanyahu, who is prime minister, is getting a lot of support from lawmakers as he tries to form a new coalition.
Neither he nor the opposition had a sufficient majority to establish self-government.

Reported BBC On Tuesday (6/4/2021), the election was the fourth in two years, with the previous three editions ending inconclusive.
Netanyahu’s position is even more difficult because he is currently on charges of bribery, fraud and abuse of power.
