Today, Friday, an Israeli occupation army drone targeted a house in the border town of Yarin, south of Lebanon, resulting in a number of wounded.
The official Lebanese News Agency reported that Israeli bombing targeted the towns of “Al-Dhahira”, “Tair Harfa”, “Aita Al-Shaab”, “Al-Jebeen” and “Muhaybib”.
It indicated that the Israeli army targeted “with phosphorus shells” the Labouneh area and the outskirts of Naqoura in the western sector of southern Lebanon.
The agency noted that the artillery shelling of these towns “was accompanied by an intense overflight of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft, and the sound of a huge explosion rang out in the town of Labouneh, the nature of which was unknown.”
In addition, the occupation army artillery targeted homes in the Ras Al-Dhahr and Al-Tarash area in the town of Mays Al-Jabal (south) and the outskirts of the town of Markaba, according to the agency.
Israeli bombing was renewed on the Ain al-Zarqa area, the outskirts of Tair Harfa, Khallet Maryamin (the outskirts of Zabqin), the outskirts of Naqoura, and Jabal al-Labouneh.
Hezbollah targets gatherings of Israeli soldiers
On the other hand, Hezbollah announced on Friday that it had targeted several sites and gatherings of occupation army soldiers off the southern border of Lebanon.
The party said in a statement that it “targeted the Israeli military point of al-Jardah, off the Lebanese border, with Burkan missiles, and it was directly hit.”
He pointed out in another statement that his members “targeted an Israeli force as it entered the intelligence battalion headquarters in the Mitat barracks with appropriate weapons, which led to its members being killed and wounded.”
He indicated in a third statement that his fighters “targeted the Israeli site of Bayad Blida with appropriate weapons, and it was hit directly.”
Gantz threatens Hezbollah
In the positions, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz vowed to “remove Lebanese Hezbollah from the borders if the world does not work on that.”
Gantz, leader of the National Unity Party, added after a meeting with representatives of Israeli towns near the border with Lebanon: “Last week I spoke with the foreign ministers of Britain, France, Germany, and the United States, and with other world leaders, and invited them here to see the reality.”
He continued: “I told them that we need political action in addition to military action, and I told them, and I also say it to our citizens: If the world does not remove Hezbollah from the borders, Israel will do so.”
Gantz added: “We are ready for political action as well as military action here in the north, and we will do our duty as a country to provide a safe life for the residents of the north and allow them to return to their homes.”
