Israeli Defense Minister reveals over 10,000 bombs dropped on Gaza City: Unprecedented Firepower in the Ongoing Conflict

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said on Wednesday evening that his army dropped more than 10,000 bombs on Gaza City alone.

Yoav Galant’s statements came at a press conference in Tel Aviv to talk about the course of the war on its twenty-sixth day, a day after the start of the ground attack in the Gaza Strip.

Gallant said: “We dropped ten thousand bombs on Gaza City.”

Since the outbreak of war between Hamas and Israel on October 7, the latter has used massive firepower that exceeds all previous wars in the Gaza Strip.

It began to use what is known as the “Ring of Fire,” which means launching dozens of raids on one place.

Estimates of the massive size of Israel’s fire

The American CNN news network reported that the bombs that fell on the Strip in 6 days were equivalent to all the bombs that fell on it in the 2014 war, which lasted 51 days. The Washington Post said that Israel dropped bombs on Gaza in a week equal to the times America dropped on Afghanistan in an entire year. Palestinian estimates reported last October that the Israeli army dropped 12,000 tons of explosives on Gaza, which is equivalent to the power of the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima during World War II.
