Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Defense Minister Israel Yoav Gallant said the militia Hizbullah Lebanon “10 times stronger” than Hamasso the Israeli army had to prepare on the northern front.
Gallant made this statement in a closed meeting with senior Israeli government officials.
Gallant said Tel Aviv was completing the transfer of military equipment to the northern front which is the border area with Lebanon.
“As part of preparations for expanding fighting in the northern sector, the IDF has been working in recent days to establish field hospitals in the Galilee region,” quoted from Anadolu Agency.
Tel Aviv said that Hezbollah had fired dozens of anti-tank missiles, rockets and mortars at Israeli military positions and Israeli cities since the Hamas attack on October 7.
Earlier this week, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) warned Hezbollah of “lethal” action if it continues to carry out attacks against Israel.
Hezbollah has previously warned its enemies that it is now “thousands of times stronger” than before.
Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine in his speech said United States President Joe Biden, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the “evil Europeans” should be careful.
“The response to any mistakes you may make with our resistance will be enormous,” he was quoted as saying Reuters.
He added, “Because what we have is faith and a God who is stronger than you, all your warships, and all your weapons.”
