Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced that his country’s army will move to the stage of a “comprehensive attack on the Gaza Strip.”
The Times of Israel newspaper quoted Defense Minister Yoav Galant as saying on Tuesday evening that the army would move to a “comprehensive attack” on the Gaza Strip, noting that the Strip “will never return to what it was.”
According to the newspaper, Gallant told his forces on the border with the Gaza Strip: “I have unleashed and freed all restrictions. We have regained control of the area. We are heading towards a full attack.”
Addressing the soldiers, he added: “You will have the ability to change the reality here… (Hamas) wanted change in Gaza, and it will change 180 degrees from what it wanted.”
He went on to say: “Hamas will regret this moment. Gaza will never be the same again.”
