Israeli attack targeting a Fire Station in Lebanon, 10 officers killed

Ministry of Health Lebanon said attack Israel targeting the fire station. 10 officers were reported killed.

“The Israeli attack last night targeted the local fire station in Baraasheet where 10 members of the civil defense were located,” said city official Reda Ashour, as reported by AFP, Monday (7/10/2024) .

The Ministry of Health reported that 10 officers who were in the building died. Officials are currently clearing debris caused by the Israeli attack.

“How 10 firefighters died (were) in the building and ready to do a rescue mission,” he said.

The latest report brings the number of rescuers killed in the year since cross-border firing between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah to 115, according to an AFP tally of official figures.
