Israeli artillery bombed the vicinity of Kafr Shuba and the farms of Bastra and Shanouh in southern Lebanon, and 12 missiles were fired towards the Israeli site of Ruwaisat al-Alam, opposite the Lebanese town of Kafr Shuba.
The Lebanese Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bou Habib, had said that Beirut did not want a war, indicating that Hezbollah had its own regional calculations.
Bou Habib explained that there is a “balance of terror” between Lebanon and Israel, and we refuse to cause any harm to Lebanon.
The Lebanese Foreign Minister stressed that the caretaker government has no ability to control Hezbollah, despite the positive dialogue with the government.
