Israeli Army Bombs Hezbollah in Lebanon: Evacuation Orders Issued | Latest Updates

(CNN) – The Israeli army announced, on Tuesday, that its forces were “bombing terrorist targets” belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

On Monday, Israel ordered the evacuation of 28 villages in the north of the country, “in the area located within a distance of up to two kilometers from the Lebanese border,” amid an exchange of fire on the border between Israel and Hezbollah members.

According to a joint statement by the Ministry of Defense and the Israeli Army: “The implementation of the plan was approved by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. A short while ago, the Northern Command informed the heads of local authorities about the decision. The plan will be implemented by the heads of local municipalities, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Emergency Management Authority ( NEMA) of the Ministry of Defense.

The Israeli army said that, on Sunday, Israeli aircraft bombed Hezbollah military targets in Lebanon, in response to the launching of missiles from Lebanon on Israeli territory, earlier the same day.
