The video of the Israeli Ambassador to Britain’s interview with British media Tzipi Hotovely became the focus after the ambassador appeared to be furious when answering questions regarding Palestine and the two-state solution.

The two-state solution is a resolution to the Israeli and Palestinian conflict which has been supported by the international community.

This two state solution projects a resolution to the conflict by ensuring that Palestine and Israel each stand as an independent, sovereign state and live side by side peacefully.

The two-state solution also guarantees that the city of East Jerusalem belongs to Palestine.

Yemeni separatists, the Southern Transitional Council (STC), have even stated that they are ready to defend Israel against the Houthi rebels who support Palestine.

Reporting from the Middle East Monitor, this was conveyed by the STC after the Houthis threatened to block the route of ships heading to Israel from any country, unless Gaza received the necessary food and medicine.

The Houthis are trying to show their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi insinuated that the United States (US) and Western countries had allowed Israel to commit human rights violations in Gaza, even though all this time RI had often dictated to it.

Retno said this when she was a panelist at a roundtable on human rights, peace and security at the UN Human Rights Council Headquarters, Geneva, Tuesday (12/12).

“The parties who often dictate to us regarding human rights are the ones who are now allowing Israel to violate human rights,” said Retno in an official statement, Tuesday (12/12).

Retno said all countries should not apply double standards in upholding human rights. Because according to him, double standards are the biggest problem in implementing ideal human rights.
