Group Hamas which controls the Gaza Strip claimed the latest airstrike Israel towards the Al-Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza Strip has killed at least 13 people.
As reported Al JazeeraFriday (10/11/2023), several hospitals in the Gaza Strip, incl RS Al-Shifa, was hit by the latest series of Israeli air attacks on Friday (10/11) morning local time. Al-Shifa Hospital is the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip region.
“Thirteen martyrs and dozens of other people were injured in the attack on the Al-Shifa compound today,” said a statement by the Hamas government which controls the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian news agency, HE DIED, in a separate report said several people were killed and a number of others were injured as a result of Israel’s latest attack on the outpatient clinic at Al-Shifa Hospital. But news agency reports HE DIED did not provide further details on the exact number of dead and injured.
News agency HE DIED said this latest attack occurred several hours after the Israeli military stormed the grounds of Al-Shifa Hospital.
Previously, the Director of Al-Shifa Hospital Abu Salmiya told Al Jazeera Arab on Friday (10/11) morning local time that at least six people were killed as a result of an Israeli attack that hit the hospital complex.
Salmiya reported that the Israeli military continues to bomb areas near Al-Shifa Hospital, which not only treats the injured but also accommodates thousands of Palestinians who were forced to flee their homes due to the war.
“This caused many casualties, including critical injuries. There could be a massacre in this place because of the large number of people in this complex,” he said.
