Israeli Aircraft Drops Leaflets in Wazzani Area, Blaming Hezbollah for Harm – Latest Updates on Israel-Lebanon Conflict

On Monday, Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets on the Wazzani area in southern Lebanon, according to a Sky News Arabia correspondent.

Israeli publications blame the Lebanese Hezbollah for the harm caused to the residents of Wazzani as a result of the party placing its weapons in their towns.

The leaflets say: “Oh son of the south… Hezbollah is risking your lives and the lives of your families and homes.”

According to the publications, “Hezbollah is entering its members and weapons into residential areas” in Al-Wazzani.

On Sunday, Hezbollah announced the firing of dozens of missiles at a town in northern Israel, the day after five people, including three of its members, were killed in an Israeli bombing in southern Lebanon.

Since the start of Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, there has been an almost daily exchange of attacks between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, across the border between the two countries.

Since the beginning of the escalation, at least 312 people have been killed, most of them Hezbollah fighters, in addition to 56 civilians in Lebanon, according to a tally prepared by Agence France-Presse based on party statements and official Lebanese sources.

In the future, 10 soldiers and 7 civilians were killed on the Israeli side, according to official figures.

The escalation also led to the displacement of tens of thousands of people in the border areas on both sides.
