The 79th day of the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip will be the harshest on the occupation army since the beginning of the war on October 7th.
The Israeli army announced the killing of an armored officer in the 79th Battalion during the battles in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll of the occupation army to 15 officers and soldiers in just one day in the Gaza battles.
The occupation army spokesman said during a press conference that 486 soldiers were killed since the beginning of October 7, including 153 soldiers killed since the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip.
The number of wounded soldiers has reached 1,996 since October 7, including 826 soldiers who were injured during the ground invasion. There are 3 bodies of those killed by the army in captivity in Gaza. The Israeli army claimed that it killed 8,000 Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip.
While the Palestinian factions said that they were able to kill 48 Zionist soldiers and wound dozens in the past 4 days, the factions explained that they targeted invading forces with missiles and anti-fortifications and anti-individual devices, and they clashed with them from a distance of zero. The factions revealed that 35 military vehicles were completely or partially destroyed during the past 4 days.
While Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not believe in the two-state solution, he added that the Israeli government is not only against the two-state solution, but also against the existence of the Palestinian National Authority.
