The first official position from the Israeli side about the explosions on the bombers of Hezbollah members came through the mouth of Isaac Herzog. The president of Israel spoke about the specific issue on the Sky News camera.
Mr. Herzog denied Israeli involvement in this particular attack. In fact, he emphasized that “there are many enemies of Hezbollah. We have the right to defend ourselves and that’s all we do. As any other state would do to protect its citizens.”
«We have the inherent right to defend ourselves.»

After his interview, he attacked Hezbollah, but also Iran, which equips it. “Israel is not interested in being at war with Lebanon, but Lebanon has been occupied by a terrorist organization, it has been armed by the Iranian Evil Empire,” he said.
In fact, it didn’t stop there. He then claimed that Iran wants to “conquer the Middle East and expand into Europe and the rest of the world.”
