CAIRO, May 14 (Reuters) – The UAE’s foreign minister on Friday expressed his country’s concern over escalating violence in Israel and Palestine, and called on all parties to take action immediate steps to engage in a ceasefire and start a political dialogue, the official WAM news agency reported.
“We are ready to support all efforts to this end,” said Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan. “It is the real mark of leadership at this time of crisis to refrain from provocations and reprisals, and on the contrary to work towards a de-escalation of tensions,” he added.
