All those leaving Israel are now forced to fill out a form, where they pledge not to visit countries on the “red list” of the Ministry of Health.
The Israeli Ministry of Health has tightened quarantine requirements for tourists. From now on, all visitors, without exception, are required to self-isolate upon arrival in the country. On Friday, July 9, reports Times of Israel.

The Ministry of Health clarifies that the duration of self-isolation will depend on the country of arrival. So, for tourists coming from countries with a low incidence rate, the period of self-isolation will be only a day.
At the same time, those who came from one of 16 countries with a high spread of coronavirus will be placed in self-isolation for two weeks or 10 days in the case of two negative tests for COVID-19.
The list of countries with a high incidence now includes: UAE, Seychelles, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Bolivia, Guatemala, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Kyrgyzstan and Tunisia.
Also, a new list of countries banned by Israelis from visiting due to too difficult an epidemiological situation was announced. They are Uzbekistan, Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, South Africa, India, Mexico and Russia.
Visiting such countries without a valid reason will result in a $ 1,500 fine and mandatory quarantine.
