Israel takes God out of the air: “Didn’t mention they wanted to convert Jews to Christianity”

According to certain passages in Israeli law, you may not convert people to another religion. Because the channel did not state that intention in the license application, the Israeli Broadcasting Council decided that the channel had to disappear from the TV.

This does not mean that God TV will disappear permanently from Israel. The door is still ajar: the channel can submit a new license application, but with an honest description of their programs. The application can then be viewed again.
