Israel says it has killed 15 Hezbollah members in an attack in Lebanon

Military Israel claim 15 members Hizbullah was killed in an airstrike that hit the area Lebanon south end. The Hezbollah group, with the support of Iran, said that its soldiers had prevented an attack by Tel Aviv soldiers on the border.

Israel’s military, as reported AFPThursday (3/10/2024), announced that his attack had hit the area Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon, an area that suffered major damage war against Tel Aviv in 2006. The Israeli military said 15 Hezbollah fighters were killed in the attack.

Hezbollah did not receive an immediate response to Israel’s claim.

Another evacuation order was issued by the Israeli military, which asked Lebanese civilians to evacuate around 25 villages in the south of the country.

Hezbollah, in a separate statement, said its forces were fighting Israeli forces that were trying to take the Fatima Gate area, another area near the Lebanese border.

It was also said by Hezbollah that its fighters fired a barrage of rockets at the Israeli city of Tiberias in response to the bombing of “cities, towns and civilians” in Lebanon.

Attacks have continued since Israel announced this week the start of a limited ground operation in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah is a stronghold. The ground operation was launched by Tel Aviv after attacking Lebanon for several weeks.
