Israel says 160 rockets were launched from Lebanon

Meanwhile, the Iranian-backed Lebanese Hezbollah group said it had launched a rocket on Sunday at an Israeli military base east of the northern city of Safed.

The group said Hezbollah fighters fired a ‘massive rocket attack’ at an Israeli military base east of Safed. Hezbollah said the attack was “defending Lebanon”.

“In response to Israeli enemy attacks on villages and houses,” he said.
