Israel Rejects Ceasefire, Intensifies Attack on Gaza: Death Toll Rises and Humanitarian Crisis Looms

Tel Aviv: Israel rejected the request of the world countries and the UN for an immediate ceasefire and intensified the attack on Gaza. The army continues to kill people by bombing hospitals and civilian centers. The death toll in Gaza has risen to 10,328. Israel will take over the security of post-war Gaza. But the White House said that it cannot move forward by ignoring the Palestinian people.

Israel’s political and military leadership has made it clear that Tarim will not retreat from the attack after a month. Prime Minister Netanyahu said that there will be no ceasefire without the release of the hostages. The Defense Minister will not back down from the attack until Hamas is driven out. Israel’s army chief says that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar will be hunted down and killed. As the attack intensified, the misery in Gaza was compounded. The spokesperson of the Gaza Ministry of Interior said that the number of dead and missing would be over 13,500. Most hospitals are in a state of disarray to perform surgery without anesthesia.

The World Health Organization says that things are very sad. Voluntary organizations say that if water, medicine and food do not arrive in abundance, the humanitarian disaster will be huge. Israel has made further progress in Gaza. But Hamas has destroyed many Israeli military vehicles through strong resistance. Israel will take care of the security of Gaza after the war. But the United States does not agree with Israel’s continued occupation of Gaza.

The US State Department will not support the proposal to resettle Palestinians outside of Gaza. The government in Gaza says the war in Gaza is about starvation, expulsion and ethnic cleansing. According to American sources, discussions are continuing in Qatar mediation on the proposal put forward by Hamas to release 15 non-Israeli hostages. The US has proposed a ceasefire of at least three days.

Hamas accused Israel of not wanting the release of the hostages. Hamas also said that America has no right to talk about the future of Gaza. The United States has again warned Iran that if war spreads in the region, a strong response is guaranteed.
