He Israeli Army ordered the evacuation of the southern town of Bani Suhailais of Jan Yunisat a time when 90% of the population of Gaza has already been forcibly displaced, according to the HIM.
“For your safety, evacuate immediately and move to the humanitarian zone.”the military spokesman announced in Arabic on X, Avichay Adraeewho also included, in addition to Suhailathe neighborhoods of Sheikh Nasser, Barbakh, Al Satr, Maan and almost twenty blocks.
Successive mass evacuation orders have already displaced 90% of Gazans, according to the UN, often repeatedly. In August alone, Israeli forces have issued 13 orders forcing nearly 300,000 people to leave.
These guidelines are in addition to the evacuation orders of August 16, when the Israeli Army ordered the displacement of the population north of Khan Yunis and east of Deir al-Balah.
The “humanitarian zone” established by Israel encompasses a narrow strip of 36 square kilometers between the zone of Al Mawasiin Khan Yunis, until Deir al-Balah and, despite being home to a civilian population, it is not free from attacks.
On July 13, a bombing in the coastal area of Al Mawasi killed more than 90 Palestinians and wounded 300 others. Three days later, at least 17 more Palestinians were killed in another Israeli airstrike in the same area, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
In total, some 30,000 people are crammed into every square kilometre of the humanitarian zone in Al Mawasi due to Israeli evacuation orders, according to an estimate published on Wednesday by the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA).
Before the war, there were 1,200 people per square kilometer. EFE (I)
