Israel is delaying fire because Netanyahu could be tried

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (Wamenlu) IranMohammad Hasan Sheikholeslami, announced Israel deliberately delaying the ceasefire in Gaza. Sheikholeslami said that if the ceasefire happens it could end the political career of the Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahuas well as put to trial.

“I want you to pay attention to the movements of Netanyahu and Israel who are taking different methods to stop the ceasefire negotiation process,” Sheikholeslami said at the Iranian Ambassador’s residence in Jakarta, Tuesday ( 13/8/2024).

“The child-killing regime, Israel, is trying in various ways to delay the ceasefire because Netanyahu knows that getting a ceasefire would mean the end of Netanyahu’s political era and the beginning of the time to put him on trial,” he continued.

Sheikholeslami said that several analysts and thinkers also said that this terrorist step was deliberately chosen in the capital of Iran. The aim is to create a serious challenge to the new government led by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Sheikholeslami confirmed that his party would not go around with what Israel did in its region. He ensured that Iran’s retaliation would be done at the right time and place.

“Then we will not play on the field prepared and defined by the Zionist regime. However, Iran’s retaliation is a complete and certain thing that will be done firmly, that will be done at the right time and in the right place according to their interests and the values ​​of our country,” said Sheikholeslami.

Sheikholeslami explained that several Israeli attacks, including those that killed the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, had hurt the hearts of the Iranian people. He also said that Iran’s retaliatory attack would shock the international world.

“The people of Iran are saddened and angry about this incident. The people of our country say that any kind of tolerance towards the Zionist country can be considered as a kind of weakness for our country and this should not happen,” explained Sheikholeslami.

“And of course, with a rational approach and by providing comprehensive support to the Palestinian people and protecting the land of our country, we will retaliate at the right time that will surprise the international community, ” he said.
