Sheikholeslami explained that several Israeli attacks, including those that killed the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, had hurt the hearts of the Iranian people. He also said that Iran’s retaliatory attack would shock the international world.

“The people of Iran are saddened and angry about this incident. The people of our country say that any kind of tolerance towards the Zionist country can be considered as a kind of weakness for our country and this should not happen,” explained Sheikholeslami.

“And of course, with a rational approach and by providing comprehensive support to the Palestinian people and protecting the land of our country, we will retaliate at the right time that will surprise the international community, ” he said.
