TEHRAN – After Iran seized the ship of an Israeli businessman, the intense Israel-Iran conflict is moving towards an open war. Iran has announced that it has launched dozens of drones targeting specific locations in Israel. The drones are capable of carrying 20 kg of explosives.
Israel also confirmed the drone attack which started at 2 am yesterday morning Indian time. The Israeli army has announced that it has destroyed about 200 drones and 10 missiles fired by Iran.
As the conflict escalated, Israel, Jordan and Iraq closed their airspace. The airport in Israel was also closed in the wake of the attack. The US has announced that it will provide all support to Israel to face the attack from Iran.
At the same time, Saudi Arabia expressed concern about the escalation of the conflict. Saudi Arabia appealed to both countries to avoid war by any means.
