Israel is in a State of Emergency, 200 Large Israeli Companies Allow Their Employees to Take Part in Netanyahu’s Demonstration
TRIBUNNEWS.COM – An association of 200 large Israeli companies reportedly gave their employees permission to take a week off to take part in protests against the Israeli government.
Publicly, the large demonstration called for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be replaced because he was deemed to have failed to overcome the Gaza War, especially regarding the release of Israeli hostages and prisoners held by Hamas.
The demonstration was also aimed at putting pressure on the Israeli government regarding prisoner exchange negotiations with Hamas, Israeli media reported.

In more detail, these large Israeli companies announced that their employees could be absent or leave work early to take part in anti-government demonstrations without any deduction from their leave rights.
According to an Israeli news site, Israel Hayomthe CEOs of several companies argued and warned that Israel as a country is currently experiencing a “state of emergency”.
The forum consists of major private companies in Israel, which collectively employ most of the workforce in the private sector, as reported by Israeli news sites.
It is worth noting that Israel’s funding of the war in Gaza resulted in a credit rating downgrade for the first time in February.
At the time, Moody’s cut Israel’s credit rating by one notch, from A1 to A2, and noted the country’s poor finances.
