Israel hits Houthis: Israel’s next target is the Houthis; Heavy attack in Yemen

Israel strikes Houthis: After Lebanon, Israel’s strong offensive is aimed at Houthis in Yemen. Violent explosions hit places including power plants, Ras Issa in Yemen and the port of Hodeidah. Heavy airstrikes using dozens of Air Force planes have reportedly caused extensive damage.

Israeli military spokesman Captain David Avraham told AFP that Houthi bases in Yemen’s Ras Issa and Hodeida regions were targeted. Four people were killed and 29 wounded in the Israeli attack, according to the Houthi-led health ministry.

After the clashes in Yemen, Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that the enemy must understand that there is no place that Israel cannot reach. Attacks continue in Lebanon. 24 more people were killed today. Israel’s attack on the Houthis came after the Yemen-based military group fired missiles and drones at Israel over the past two days.

The Houthis launched their attacks on Israel after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed. He vowed revenge against Israel for killing the leader and retaliated by firing rockets into northern Israel. Israel confirmed that 35 rockets were fired from Lebanese territory.
