Israeli military (IDF) launched an airstrike to wealth accused of targeting the Houthi militia, Sunday (29/9).
In its statement, the IDF said the attack on Yemen was in response to Houthi rocket fire on Israel in the past two days.
The IDF said dozens of warplanes, including fighter jets, attacked power plants and seaports in Ras Issa and Hodeidah Harbor.

“Over the past year, the Houthis have been operating under the direction and funding of Iran, and have cooperated with Iraqi militias to attack the State of Israel, undermine regional stability, and disrupt on global freedom of navigation,” said the IDF statement, which was the reason for attacks on Yemen this weekend.

Earlier, Israel said its air defense system had successfully engaged rockets launched by the Houthis from Yemen.
The Houthi militia group said it fired a ballistic missile toward Ben Gurion International Airport outside the city of Tel Aviv.
The ballistic missile was fired at the same time as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s flight home from the United States (USA).
The Houthi militia in Yemen is one of the militant groups that have attacked Israel as a form of solidarity with Palestine since October 7, 2023.
The Houthi militia also mourned the death of Hezbollah’s leader in Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah, as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Beirut.
