1. An Israeli fighter jet shoots down its own soldiers, an IDF commander dies
An Israeli fighter jet had reportedly misfired. Even the bombs fired by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) hit the Israeli army (IDF) itself.

“Shahar was killed by a bomb dropped by an IAF fighter jet on Khan Yunis,” he said.

After his death, Ben Nun was reportedly promoted from the rank of Second Lieutenant to Lieutenant. The IDF has contacted his family and expressed its condolences.
2. Israel ‘Rains’ Hezbollah Rockets
The Iran-backed Hezbollah group in Lebanon launched a number of rockets at Israeli military bases in the Golan Heights held by it on Tuesday (20/8/2024), in “response” to Israel’s attack on eastern Lebanon the a day before.
According to sources close to Hezbollah, the fighters launched “intense rocket attacks” on two Israeli army positions in the Golan Heights “in response to Israeli enemy attacks in the Bekaa Valley.” The attack targeted military warehouses in the eastern region.
The Israeli military confirmed that around 55 projectiles were found crossing the territory ofLebanon.
“Some of the projectiles were intercepted, and the rest fell in open fields. No casualties were reported,” the military said in a statement, adding that some of the rockets had started fires.
The Israeli military also said its troops had attacked one of the rocket launchers used in the attack.
This latest attack by the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement came after Israel attacked a weapons warehouse inside eastern Lebanon on Monday. The Israeli attack came after a soldier in northern Israel was killed by Hezbollah gunfire, the latest death in 10 months of cross-border exchange of fire between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.
3. Netanyahu’s evil plan to seize the West Bank
The Palestinian Presidential Advisor for International Relations, Riyad Al Maliki, revealed Netanyahu’s plan to take over his entire country. This was announced in a Special Speech on Palestine in Jakarta, Tuesday (20/8/2024).

“Israel does not want to take over Gaza. They want to take over the West Bank because they say that the area was ideologically given to them by God.”
With such a situation, Al Maliki said that Netanyahu wanted to create a bigger regional war. This plan involves the United States (USA), so that the Palestinian people will be forced as a result of this great war.
“He (Netanyahu) wants to bring the US into this great regional war, where Israel will fight Iran and groups in Lebanon, Yemen and also Iraq,” he said.

5. Killing Israeli hostility
A military statement said they found the bodies of six Israeli prisoners held by Hamas in Gaza. The prisoners were named as Alex Dancyg, 75 years old, Yagev Buchshtav, 35 years old, Chaim Peri, 79 years old, Yoram Metzger, 80 years old, Nadav Popplewell, 51 years old aged, and Avraham Munder, 78 years old.
“The overnight operation was carried out jointly by the army and Shin Bet (Israeli intelligence agency). After identification procedures were done, the families of the victims were contacted,” the military said.
6. Hands down Yahya Sinwar
Hamas spokesman Osama Hamdan told Reuters that the group’s new leader, Yahya Sinwar, had always been part of the decision-making process in ceasefire talks in Gaza.
“Due to the security situation, communication with Sinwar had tools and mechanisms, but everything went smoothly,” Hamdan said.
7. Recent legs
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Tuesday that Israeli forces had killed 34 people and wounded 114 others in the last 24 hours.
“This increases the death toll in the siege since October 7 to 40,173 people killed and 92,857 people injured,” he said.
