The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its statement, as reported Al ArabiyaTuesday (24/9/2024), warning about the risk of widespread violence and negative effects on the Middle East region.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia follows the development of security-related events occurring in the Lebanese region with great concern, and renews its warning regarding the risk of the spread of violence in the region, and the negative impact of such escalation on regional security. and stability,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

In its statement, Riyadh also reaffirmed its support for Lebanon’s stability and stressed the need to respect the country’s sovereignty in accordance with international law.
In addition to Saudi, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan raised similar concerns.
Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement on Monday (23/9) as reported AFPcalled for “international forces and the UN Security Council to take immediate action” to stop Israel’s “dangerous escalation in Lebanon.”
Cairo, which is the main mediator between Israel and Hamas, has repeatedly warned against Israel’s regional escalation, which it said had “threatened to drag the region into an all-out regional war”.
