Israel has hit 2,000 military targets in southern Lebanon

Military personnel, military buildings, weapons and other targets were hit, the statement said.

250 Hezbollah fighters were killed this week in a ground operation by the Israeli army in southern Lebanon, the Israeli armed forces said.

Since September 23, the Israeli army has been intensively bombing southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut in response to Hezbollah attacks on Israeli territory.

On October 1, Israel began ground operations in Lebanon.

Israel’s stated goal is to drive Hezbollah fighters from the border areas so that the approximately 60,000 residents evacuated from northern Israel due to Hezbollah’s shelling can return home.
