Israel fires at Lebanon after rocket fire from border area | Abroad

The army of Israel says fires are being fired at the places where the missiles came from. According to local media, this is around the places Habbariyeh and Kfarchouba. These places are located in the mountainous border region in southeastern Lebanon. Lebanese security forces say the first Israeli missiles have landed in the country. Nothing is known about victims yet.

Unifil, the UN mission in Lebanon, has said that it is now calm in the area but that they are wary of the attacks. Additional patrols are being conducted “to prevent further incidents that endanger the security of the local population and the security of southern Lebanon,” Unifil writes on Twitter.

Three missiles were also fired from Lebanon on Thursday. It is not known who is behind it.
