“The Israeli attack targeted a warehouse inside Russia’s Khmeimim base. Israel bombed the base an hour after the Iranian Qeshm Fars Air plane arrived,” said Abdullah al-Musa, a journalist with ‘ television company against Syria TV, Syria TV.
An unnamed Turkish journalist told Bild that the Iranian plane landed at the airport at 10am on October 2 and took off from there around 5pm – eight hours before the attack.
“The reason for the attacks was the cargo he was carrying under the guise of humanitarian aid for the Lebanese,” said the spokesperson of the publication.
Journalists also clarify that there is another version – weapons for Hezbollah could be destroyed 700 meters from the Russian airbase, where they were stored after delivery. At the same time, Russia may have tried to shoot down the missiles, but it failed.
