Israel confirms elimination of Hashem Safieddine, who was going to be the new head of Hezbollah – Diario La Página –

The Israeli Army confirmed that it killed Hashem Safieddine, the cleric who was emerging as Hassan Nasrallah‘s successor as head of the Hezbollah group.

The Defense Forces (IDF) claimed that Safieddine was eliminated in an airstrike on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, earlier this month. There was no immediate confirmation of the terrorist group.
