Israel. “Children beheaded”: CNN journalist apologizes for reporting the news

at Mohamed Ben Abdallah

CNN correspondent Sara Sinder apologized for reporting Israel’s story that Hamas members savagely killed children in an offensive in Israel a week ago. The news of “babies and children with their heads decapitated” or killed in their sleep was reported Tv I24 on military sources, but the Gaza party immediately rejected these charges.
Yesterday the CNN journalist tweeted that she wanted to publicly apologize for reporting the allegations live: “The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that Hamas beheaded babies and children while we were live. Today the Israeli government says it cannot confirm that the children were beheaded. I should have been more careful with my words and I’m sorry.”
US officials and Western media have echoed Israel’s accusations, but Israeli authorities have not yet provided any evidence to support those accusations.
On the other hand, the video clips shot at the beginning of the “al-Aqsa Flood” offensive and the testimonies of Israelis themselves have documented that women and children were not targeted or mistreated during the assault on the settlements surrounding Gaza by part of the members of the Islamic Resistance Movement.
Already on Wednesday, Hamas had rejected reports of alleged attacks on Israeli children, and had called on Western media to “be accurate and not partial to the Zionist narrative.”
Hamas had claimed that the resistance and the Izz al-Din al-Qassim Brigades were “avoiding civilians and targeting only the Zionist military system”, already taking into account that “Western media would report news of children being killed and beheaded”. .
The day before yesterday the same organization, which still holds numerous civilian and military hostages, released a young mother with her two children.
A 19-year-old Israeli soldier, taken prisoner during the offensive, was pulled lifeless in Gaza from the rubble of a building destroyed in the bombing.
If the news released by the Israeli authorities is not confirmed by the facts, we are faced with yet another hoax constructed ad hoc for propaganda purposes.
