“Israeli ministers were clearly told to estimate when the second wave of attacks against Iran would be carried out,” the media said, as quoted by RT.

“This attack was in retaliation for Hezbollah‘s drone (UAV/drone) attack on Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence,” he said.

It was also told how the meeting was held on Sunday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet ministers approved further attacks.

However, unfortunately Channel 13 did not reveal the source of this report. The network also did not clarify who exactly asked the ministers to carry out more attacks on Iran.

Dozens of people died as a result of the Beit Lahiya attack

The director general of the Gaza Government Media Office, Ismail al-Thawabta, said that at least 93 people were killed, and 40 people were missing after an Israeli attack on a residential building housing refugees in Beit Lahiya.

Al-Thawabta told the media that dozens of injured people had arrived at the Kamal Adwan Hospital, which had stopped working, and no one could treat them.

He said there were 200 people in the building that Israel attacked. So far, 83 people have been buried.

Israel bans UNRWA activities in its country

The Israeli Parliament (Knesset) officially approved a law that prohibits the United Nations agency for Palestine refugees or the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the East (UNRWA) from working on the territory of Israel.

This law was still approved by Israel on Monday (28/10/2024) local time, despite objections from the United States (USA).

This law was passed. According to experts, the ban on the UN agency would be a blow to humanitarian work in Gaza if implemented.

Naim Qassem officially becomes the new leader of Hezbollah

Lebanon’s Hezbollah group officially named deputy leader Naim Qassem as its new leader. Qassem replaces Hasan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli attack in Beirut last month.

“Hezbollah’s Shura (ruling) Council… agreed to elect Sheikh Naim Qassem as Hezbollah’s secretary general,” the Iran-backed group said in a statement on Tuesday (29/10/2024), as reported by AFP.

Hezbollah vowed to keep the “front fire burning” until victory was achieved against Israel after the war broke out on September 23.

According to a source close to Hezbollah, Qassem was elected by the five-member Shura Council two days before Tuesday’s announcement. The main decision-making body of the organization is the Shura Council.

Qassem has long worked in the shadow of Nasrallah, a prominent leader who is one of the most mysterious and influential people in the Middle East.

Israel tortures key Fatah leaders

It has been reported that Israel has begun to torture a former high-ranking member of the Palestinian political group Fatah, Marwan Barghouti, who is currently in prison. This happened when Israel continued to bomb the Palestinian territory of Gaza in order to crush Fatah’s political opponents, Hamas.

In an Al Jazeera report, the Commission for Prisoner Affairs and Former Prisoners and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Association said on Monday that Barghouti was attacked on September 9 while he was being held in an isolation area in Israel’s Megiddo Prison.

“As a result of the attack, Barghouti, nicknamed the ‘Palestinian Nelson Mandela’ by his supporters, suffered multiple injuries, especially to his upper body. head, ears, ribs, right arm and back,” the statement said, citing reports from several sources.

The 64-year-old was reportedly attacked along with a group of other Palestinian prisoners. The commission said that the Palestinians who were in custody were in ‘difficult conditions’, especially over the past year during the war in Gaza.

Almost 12 Thousand Palestinian Students were killed in Gaza

The Ministry of Education in Gaza said that 11,852 students have been killed and 18,959 injured since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.

In a statement reported by Wafa, the ministry said that 114 students were killed in the West Bank and 594 were injured.

At least 560 teachers and administrators were killed and 3,729 were injured in the Gaza Strip and living in the West Bank, and more than 148 were detained in the occupied territories.

The ministry said that 362 government schools, universities and their buildings, and 65 related to UNRWA were bombed and damaged in Gaza.

At least 718,000 students in the Gaza Strip have lost the opportunity to go to school and college, with the majority of students suffering from psychological trauma and suffering from complex health conditions.

South Africa reveals new evidence of Gaza genocide by Israel

The government of South Africa (South Africa) provided evidence that Israel had committed genocide in Gaza, Palestine, to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), on Monday (28/10/2024). This happened after Nelson Mandela’s country sued Tel Aviv over alleged heinous acts.

Ramaphosa said that this evidence came in just as Israel was intensifying the killing of civilians in Gaza and now suspected that they were moving forward with similar moves in Lebanon.

Iran doubles military budget amid war with Israel

The Iranian government has proposed doubling its military budget. An Iranian government spokesman said this was raised as tensions with their arch-enemy Israel escalated following recent retaliatory missile attacks.

Government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani explained the move would bring “a significant increase of more than 200 percent in the country’s military budget” at a press conference in Tehran.
