The Israeli Army attacked the infrastructure of the Lebanese Shiite militia this Monday Hezbollah in the zone of Dhayra and in Al Addisin the south of Lebanonas well as a group launch position in Aitarounafter anti-aircraft alarms went off in several towns in northern Israel.
«This morning, fragments of an aircraft were identified in an open area in Arbel, in the Lower Galilee, northern Israel. “The plane is most likely not an Israeli Air Force plane.”said a military statement.
The Army noted that “the incident is under review” and that the police are also at the scene.
The sirens that went off in the north were due to the interference of a “hostile flying object”, although so far Hezbollah has not claimed responsibility for any attack today.
Israel also reported an operation the previous day, after identifying a “terrorist cell” entering a Hezbollah military complex in the area of Ayta ash youngon which fighter planes were deployed to attack.
The border between Israel and Lebanon is experiencing its highest peak of tension since 2006 with an intense exchange of fire for more than four months that has claimed the lives of at least 287 people, most on the Lebanese side and in the ranks of Hezbollah. which has confirmed some 205 casualties, some of them in Syria.
In Israel, 19 people have died on the northern border (13 soldiers and 6 civilians); while in Lebanon some 268 people have died, including some 32 members of Palestinian militias, one soldier and 30 civilians – among them nine minors and three journalists – in addition to Hezbollah militiamen.
