(ANSA) – JERUSALEM, OCTOBER 15 – The Israeli army reported having captured three Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon. This is the second such announcement by the Israeli military since it launched cross-border ground operations in Lebanon late last month. “An underground pipe was located inside a building used by Hezbollah. The forces surrounded the building, where three terrorists from the Radwan Force were entrenched,” the army said in a statement, referring to the elite units of the Lebanese group. “They were found together with many weapons and equipment necessary for a long stay.” The army did not say when the Hezbollah fighters were captured and there was no immediate announcement from the Lebanese armed group on the matter. On Sunday, the Israeli army announced that it had captured a Hezbollah fighter in an underground pipeline in southern Lebanon. (HANDLE).
