You do not know Daniel Lutz ? You should, because dear Daniel is nothing less than the artistic director of the very pretty Hitman Go et Lara Croft Go on mobile (two titles that we highly recommend!). This time, Daniel Lutz returns to us not as an artistic director at Square Enix, but as a “simple” indie developer. His new project, an ultra-stylized tower defense called Isle of Arrowson the other hand, evokes a lot Hitman Go and Lara Croft Go, at least on an aesthetic level.
Le gameplay does not have much to do with the two aforementioned titles since it is a question here of placing defense buildings (with offensive elements) in order to defeat successive waves of enemies. It therefore remains to be seen whether this fairly conventional gameplay (for a tower defense) will be up to the general aesthetics of the game, necessarily very high up. Isle of Arrows doesn’t yet have a release date, but it’s expected to launch “soon”.
